Meet Our Board
President
Barbara Adams is in her 4th year as president in the Central Coast Chapter of PFLAG. She is proud of the outreach programs that are implemented through this chapter and enjoys going to the schools and community groups for discussions. Barbara believes that through education and knowledge come acceptance and understanding.
Vice President
Eric Peterson is a straight ally who has been a member of the PFLAG for two and half years, he's a board member and web master. He works at a deli even though he is a vegetarian. He has recently gotten his massage practitioner license but has yet to find another job.
Treasurer
Val Barboza has been involved in the local PFLAG chapter for about 10 years and is serving her third term as Treasurer. Val believes that PFLAG connects people from differing backgrounds leading to new understanding and acceptance of our GLBTQ family and friends, as well as providing education to our general community.
Booth Chairman
Rick Tibben has been working for gay rights for over 40 years, he first joined PFLAG when it began in the 1970's. Apart from PFLAG he is also a devoted member of Big Brothers Big Sisters and has added countless volunteer hours with many young people.
